Terms of Service

By using Stellar Calendars ("the service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What the Service Does

Stellar Calendars synchronizes events between Google Calendars based on rules you configure. You authorize the service to read and write events on the calendars you select, and the service applies your rules to copy, filter, or transform events between them.

Account and Sign-In

To use the service, you sign in with your Google account and authorize access to your Google Calendar data. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Google account credentials.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service, other users' accounts, or our infrastructure.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers/networks connected to the service.
• Use the service to send spam, harass others, or distribute malware.
• Use the service in a way that violates Google's Terms of Service or API Services User Data Policy.

Service Availability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make reasonable efforts to keep the service running but do not guarantee uptime, error-free operation, or that the service will meet your specific requirements. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time.

Calendar Data and Sync Behavior

You acknowledge that:

• The service modifies your Google Calendar data based on the rules you configure. Events may be created, updated, or deleted as a result of your sync rules.
• Sync is best-effort. Network failures, API rate limits, or service outages may cause delays or temporary inconsistencies.
• You are responsible for verifying the rules you configure before relying on them for important events.
• If you delete a destination event, the service may move it to a "shadow calendar" so you can restore it later. See our privacy policy for details on data handling.

No Warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Stellar Calendars or its operators be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time by revoking access via your Google account permissions page or by using the "Delete Account" button in the app. We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at our discretion, including for violation of these terms.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
